A brief note on the rebranding from Doosan to Develon: South Korean corporation Hyundai Doosan Infracore (HDI) has changed the name of its construction machinery from DOOSAN to DEVELON. This rebranding reflects HDI’s strategy of striving for development and innovation, as Develon is a combination of the words "Develop" and "Onwards". Doosan was previously an independent company, which also owned the American agricultural and construction machinery brand BOBCAT; Doosan was subsequently acquired by Hyundai, and in 2021, Hyundai Doosan Infracore became a subsidiary of the HD Hyundai holding company ("Hyundai Heavy Industries").
Therefore, DEVELON is the new brand replacing DOOSAN, owned by HD Hyundai Infracore, a subsidiary of the HD Hyundai Corporation.
This equipment is quite common in Ukraine, as Doosan is a well-known manufacturer of construction machinery, particularly excavators and loaders, whilst Bobcat is a leading manufacturer of compact machinery, such as skid-steer loaders and mini-excavators, which are very popular for municipal, construction and agricultural work.
